London Climate Action Week June 28th 2022
The Climate Innovation Forum returns for its fourth year, as an online and in-person event during London Climate Action Week. The agenda will explore the UK’s progress in reaching net zero, the successes and the failures and what needs to be done to raise ambition.
In 2021, The Forum convened 5,000 senior policymakers from local authorities, national UK government, investors, climate-tech solution providers, heads of sustainability from FTSE 500 companies, and NGO’s in order to close the gap between ambition and action. 150 world-class speakers provided compelling keynotes, contributed to high-level panel sessions and deep-dive industry tracks, and joined interactive roundtables.
The momentum builds in anticipation of the conference each year, the speakers arrive with their agendas, and the attendees are thirsty for that one indication from the policy-makers that this year the take away will be palpable, authentic, and concrete enough for the non policy-makers to make decisions and plan for a transition. The reason Sync is just now reporting its perspective in the new year is because we wanted to attend, a multitude of events to listen, learn and take note of how to position our hypothesis and surmise at best a policy that is concrete and irrefutible by the regulators and more importantly by the public. Sync is paving a road to net-zero, one of many in hopes that they all synchronize. Our renewable energy technologies, financing structures and governance structures set a strong foundaton on which to execute net-zero targets.
